OFFICIAL OPENING
A long-term objective was achieved in June 2000 when the Premier of NSW, the Honourable Bob Carr officially opened Foundation House, the Construction Industry Drug and Alcohol Treatment Centre, which is Australia's first industry specific drug and alcohol treatment facility.
140 guests including Foundation members, construction industry personnel, representatives of government, the drug and alcohol, medical and legal fields, and the media attended the official opening to celebrate this historic event.

FOUNDATION HOUSE
  Foundation House is a 12 bed unit staffed 24 hours a day. It is located in a tranquil waterfront setting within the grounds of Rozelle Hospital in Sydney's inner west. The facility offers a broad range of services specifically designed around the needs of construction industry personnel and their families. It provides Assessment Services, a Residential Program, Outpatient Counselling, Family Counselling and Support, After-Care and Relapse Prevention Groups.
