THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY DRUG & ALCOHOL FOUNDATION
The Construction Industry Drug and Alcohol Foundation (the Foundation) is a non profit organisation formed with the objective of raising funds to provide adequate, effective and readily accessible drug and alcohol treatment services and support to construction industry personnel and members of their families.

The Foundation operates independently and autonomously, however it is linked through similar goals, and its target group, to The Building Trades Group Drug and Alcohol Safety and Rehabilitation Program (The BTG Program).

FOUNDATION HOUSE
The Building Trades Group Drug and Alcohol Program was established in 1989 out of meetings of workers and union officials who were concerned that the abuse of alcohol and other drugs in the building industry was not being confronted, and was leading to poor health, accidents and an unsafe workplace.

The BTG Program promotes awareness and workplace safety through drug and alcohol education, as well as linking workers with problems to appropriate treatment services.
